"Family" Framed Art

 A gift for my sister-in-law

It measures about 18" x 32" the pattern squares are 6" x 5 3/4"

 each mat spot is actually a pocket. so that she could easily add and change the pictures

 I used Tim Holtz vintage buttons (this pic is too blurry Can't wait for my new camera)

 I placed each square onto chipboard and then used foam adhesive to add the layers

some are three layers of 1/8" thickness, and some are 1/2" thickness 

 I glued the solid cardstock to the back of the board,

then placed all the squares on top of the plexiglass

so, you get an extra layered look
